Technical Capability Areas

Our senior specialists combine decades of international experience across Oil & Gas, Offshore Renewables, and Marine Engineering sectors.

Engineering for the transportation and offshore installation of structures, subsea assets and project equipment. Typical support includes transport configurations, vessel suitability, installation sequences, load cases, operational limits, installation procedures, interface reviews and offshore-readiness documentation.
Structural analysis and detailed design for offshore structures, temporary works, equipment foundations, vessel modifications and installation systems. Capabilities include global and local analysis, finite-element modelling, strength and fatigue checks, deck assessments, reinforcement design, support structures, fabrication drawings and material take-offs.
Engineering for offshore power, telecommunications and subsea cable installation, recovery and repair activities. Capabilities include cable-lay analysis, installation tension assessment, bend-radius verification, overboarding, touchdown behaviour, suspended spans, pull-in engineering, shore approaches, cable handling, burial assessment and installation procedures.
Hydrodynamic assessment of vessels, floating structures and offshore installation systems under environmental loading. Capabilities include vessel-motion analysis, RAOs, operability studies, wave-response assessment, tow and transport analysis, mooring response, dynamic installation analysis, rigging design, weather-window assessment and definition of limiting environmental criteria.
Naval architecture and marine-engineering support for vessel suitability, modification, loading and mobilisation. We develop layouts and integration solutions for offshore equipment, including deck reinforcements, foundations, equipment supports, cable-handling systems and temporary utilities. Deliverables may include fabrication drawings, installation details and as-built updates.
Electrical, instrumentation, automation and control support for offshore facilities, vessel modifications and temporary project systems. Capabilities include electrical load definition, cable routing, field instrumentation, control valves, I/O lists, instrument indexes, control philosophies, Cause & Effect diagrams, PLC, SIS and ESD interfaces, hazardous-area considerations, vendor reviews, FAT support and commissioning input.
Process, mechanical, piping and layout engineering for offshore facilities, vessel modifications and project equipment integration. Capabilities include P&ID review, piping design basis, line and tie-in lists, equipment specifications, hydraulic assessment, piping classes, plant and deck layouts, 3D modelling, pipe routing, flexibility and support considerations, fabrication isometrics, test packages, material take-offs and as-built documentation.
